English: Dr. Eddie Brooks is a medical orthopaedic surgeon doctor and He is a board-certified urologist trained in the diagnosis and treatment of urologic diseases, prostate cancer, kidney cancer and bladder cancer, and specializes in advanced minimally invasive treatments for prostate cancer, including laparoscopic radical prostatectomy and laparoscopic robotic radical prostatectomy. He is also a Colo-rectal surgeons specialise in the surgical treatment of disorders of the lower intestine (the colon, anus and rectum).Examples include treatment for cancer, ulcerative colitis twists of the colon causing obstruction.

BIOGRAPHY __________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Born in Zurich,Switzerland and partly raised in Washington.DC, he was an orphan and was adopted when he was only a toddler by a school teacher in DC during his tour in Switzerland because he wasn't getting proper care from the orphanage home he was in, so he had to take him because nobody knew his parents or anything else. when asked why he adopted baby Eddie he said "As a widower I've always hoped to make a difference in this world because i've seen things come and go. To bring goodness, peace or healing to a world that often seems inundated with loss, hardship and a vast array of obstacles that make life difficult for so many. when it came to the decision to adopt, it seemed like a no-brainer... I thought this was one way to make a difference at least for one child." Eddie completed high school in Roslyn, New York. After high school, Eddie attended Stony Brook University and earned his degree in biochemistry on a full scholarship. He earned his M.D from S.U.N.Y., Stony Brook School of Medicine, Stony Brook, New York in 1994. Eddie completed his postgraduate training in urology at Montefiore Medical Center and in proctology at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in 1996 and Montefiore Medical Center in 2000. He completed an oncology fellowship in proctology at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in 2001 and a robotic radical prostatectomy fellowship at Henri Mondor Hospital Creteil in France under the mentor-ship of Professor Claude Abbou in 2002.

Right now he is currently working with the united nations as an humanitarian aid, Right now Eddie is currently in SANAA,YEMEN. Due to the on going war down in Yemen, Eddie helps saves lives he has been working with the united nations on several occasions and been to other war zones like Afghanistan,Somalia,Iran and Syria. Dr Brooks has worked in hospitals all over the world and saved lives too, Last when spoken to on an interview he said he is planning a very big surprise for the states, his words are "I've been working with the UN for few months now, and i find it to be very fulfilling and challenging career" he continued by saying "As you may know the UN is an international organisation that was established to promote peace, cooperation, and development among nations. Our works covers a wide range of issues, from humanitarian aid to peacekeeping missions, and from environmental sustainability to human rights. I'm very passionate about the work that i do with the UN and i'm always eager to share more about it with others. I find that it's a great conversation starter, and it often leads to interesting discussions about global affairs and current events. of course, i understand that not everyone may be familiar with the UN and it's work.... he said " As a surgeon working with the united nations, i played a critical role in providing essential surgical services to communities affected by conflict, disaster and other emergencies. with a deep commitment to humanitarian values and a tireless work ethic, i believe i have earned a reputation as a true champion of global health, and an inspiration to colleagues and patients alike" He also urges the government to pay attention to the medical equipments in war zones and remote areas.

PERSONAL LIFE ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Eddie lost his wife Kimberly, she had a brain tumour it wasn't an easy journey for Dr Brooks and few years later lost his oldest son Larry in a car crash. Currently he only has his youngest son Kelvin with him because he chose not to marry or be in any form of intimate relationship after he lost his wife.
